Diabetic retinpathy is a leading cause of blindness, and it can be prevented by timely screening and check up advised by your diabetes care doctor. SiDER will soon be having own Retinavue camera for screening diabetic retinopathy in people suffering from Diabetes Mellitus. Patient will be able to get pictures of his eyes at same visit and will be referred to an ophthalmologist if needs treatment. Currently, we are referring diabetic patients to our own hospital’s ophthalmology department.

Dietary counseling is part and parcel of diabetes mellitus management. In fact, pre-diabetes (initial stage of diabetes) can be reversed with proper dietary care and weight loss. SiDER offers specialized nutritionist services to the people with diabetes mellitus.

Our center has a urogynecologist who has experience in evaluating such cases and treating causes of infertility. Intradepartmental endocrine referrals are made if infertility is due to particular hormone problem that needs to be managed by an Endocrinologist.
